WE ARE SO VERY GRATEFUL AND BLESSED!!!
POT LUCK RAP UP! Thanks to everyone who helped to make our Pot Luck Dinner Fundraiser such a success. We made $1121.00 (the most we have ever made!!!) So many parents, merchants and supporters helped to make this event not only a financial success but also an enjoyable evening for everyone. Congratulations to everyone who won a basket, door prize or 50/50 drawing. Thank you all so much for your presence, time and talent. Bless ya one and all!!
MISS CAROLE'S GOD TIME
Monday, May 2nd and Thursday, May 5th I will meet with the children to share stories, songs and God's love. Our theme this month is, of course, Mother’s Love!
MOMS AND MUFFINS
Friday, May 6th, 8:45 to 10:00 am ALL CHILDREN and ALL MOMS are invited to join us for our Mother's Day Celebration. The children have been busy creating very special remembrances for this special day. If you are not able to attend, a grandmother, aunt or a special female friend will be welcomed in your absence. Please sign the sign-up sheet on the wall (adjacent to the sign in book) in each classroom by Wednesday, May 5th, as we need an exact count! This celebration is for you and your Little People child, therefore please make arrangements for siblings. Plan your attire for an outside celebration!!!
VISION SCREENING
May 10th and 11th THE CALIFORNIA-HAWAII ELKS MAJOR PROJECT is offering a free Vision Screening for all children 3 years old and older. The purpose of this screening is to identify children who might be at risk for undetected vision abnormalities. Please sign the form in each classroom for your child participate in this screening. We highly recommend this Vision screening for all children 3 and over.
OPEN HOUSE
On Saturday, May 14th, 9:00-11:30 AM, we will host an Open House for new students for the 2011-2012 School Year. If anyone can help me with advertising and/or be here for a couple of hours that morning I would really appreciate the help.
MEMORIAL DAY
Little People will be CLOSED on Monday, May 30th in observance of Memorial Day.
REGISTRATION 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR
2011/2012 Registration Fees are due by June 3rd ($120–1 CHILD, $170-2 CHILDREN). This fee will hold your place for the upcoming School Year. We are also currently in the process of registering new families. Remember, if you recommend a friend, you will receive tuition credit!
THE GATE
Please be very cautious about letting people you do not know come through the gate before or after you. Politely ask them to push the white button and a staff member will assist them. Also, please completely shut the gate every time you enter or leave.
TUITION
We rely on tuition payments to pay our staff and our bills. Please be sure to pay your tuition by the end of the first day of the week your child attends. The Board of Directors regulates how much the tuition is and will disenroll if tuition is not paid. Please avoid putting the Board and me in that position.
